MTOE, FACILITIES & PART-147 AGREEMENT

A "Maintenance Training Organisation - MTO" shall be an organisation registered as a legal entity. 

This organisation must provide the Civil Aviation Authority  with a “Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition - MTOE” document to describe its organisation and procedures.

This document contains informations about:

• Management, personnel and organization
• Theoretical and practical training materials,
• Classrooms, examination rooms and workshops,
• Quality control.

In this example, the building size is 3 500 square meters for 250 learners. The building includes:

• General facilities:
• Administration, staff offices & facilities,
• Theoretical training rooms (one room per student group),
• Examination room,
• Library,
• Others: Rest room, Cafeteria, etc.

• Laboratories:
• Physics, mechanics,
• Electricity/Electronic laboratory,
• Composites laboratory,
• Hydraulics
• Metrology laboratory,
• Avionics and instruments,
• Data processing computer lab,

• Aircraft hangar:
• Wiring workshop,
• Mechanical & sheet metal workshop,
• Aircraft storage (aircraft or sections),

The support of AeroGATES concerns;

• the setting up of the Quality organization and procedure,
• the building conception; class rooms, labs, examination class, etc.
• the definition of labs & equipments,
• the instrutor qualifications,
• The provision of course materials,
• The supply of the practical work sheets, 
• the definition of labs & equipments,
• the provision of the multiple choice question bank for the examinations.

Finally, AeroGATES can advise and/or participate in the writing of the MTOE.
